Our Editorial Policy: 3 Standards

1. Check Important Details

Each guide should answer a specific question or help readers complete a task. Before publication, we check important product steps against relevant current information. For WordPress and Google Search topics, original references include WordPress Documentation and Google Search Central.

A setting may behave differently depending on the theme, plugin, hosting provider, or account. When that matters, we explain what readers should check on their own site.

2. Describe Work Honestly

We do not call a tool hands on tested unless we have actually used it. We do not present a screenshot, result, or personal experience as our own if it is not.

Guest contributions, affiliate relationships, and sponsored content must be reviewed for relevance and accuracy. A commercial relationship does not guarantee publication or a positive opinion. Where it applies, we disclose that relationship to readers.

3. Correct and Update Guides

Software interfaces and search features change. If a reader reports an incorrect fact or an outdated step, we review the report and update the guide when needed. We do not change a publication date simply to make old content appear new.
